Each of us has our own way of celebrating Independence Day; but in Jacobus this year, folks around here were treated to an event that gives new meaning to "independence".  From a distance, it might have appeared to be just another baseball game.  But when taking a closer look, one could see that the players were all blind and having a blast enjoying America's favorite pastime in a new way.
